This is Project Laenerin - My first sculpey-made action figure. She is still in pieces and thus a Work-in-Progress. By the way, I haven't made her hair yet, just in case you were wondering if she was bald. XD
Baked parts: (left to right, back to front) Arm wrist Upper thigh Lower Thigh Head Torso Chest Armor platings Shoe Arm segments Palm segment of hand finger segments
By the way, many of the parts here will have to be duplicated first, like the legs, arm segments, hands, fingers before one whole figure is completed, so i think this will take quite a while... ^_^; but stay tuned!
Thanks so much for the comment! I'm going to drill bigger cavities in the appropriate places in each part for the joint sockets. As for the joints, I'm taking your advice you gave from statueforums by making ball joints from other materials like wood.
The finger joints will have a metal bar running through each joint, so i'll have to sand the parts down and drill holes later on.. i have a feeling the hands will bite me in the ass and kill me XP

it is very interesting that you make so much Single Parts for this Figure.... a I also make my very First Sculpture with Super Sculpey a Week ago and I think I make a mistake by Building the Head and the Hairs in just one Part *__+ I mean I also use a Aluminium Foil and Wire Skelet but not for the Head
Your Work ip Looks very nice and Detailed, is the Figure from a Anime ?
Eeep. Yeah, it's hard to manage both the hair and head/face if it's actually one piece *_*, especially if you plan on making molds out of your character. Aluminum and wire is good for larger pieces or sculptures, but since mine is in pieces, I didn't need to put any stuff besides clay (minus the wire support, hehe) except for the thick, chunky parts (I put aluminum inside too, with epoxy putty, hehe.
She's not from an existing anime series since she's my original character, but it's sculpted anime style.

DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Deviousness Award is an accolade which is traditionally handed out on the 1st of every month to one trully outstanding deviant. `Cyantre is one of the most helpful deviants within our community. Always looking for ways in which he can get more involved in our community, John's positive presence is to be aspired to.
